Reduces Choking and Vomiting
A slow feeder moderates your dog's eating pace, ensuring they take the time to chew their food thoroughly. Just as we were advised in our youth, proper chewing is essential for both humans and canines alike!

Reduces Chances Of Bloat
Bloat arises when dogs eat too quickly, causing their stomachs to fill with air. This pressure restricts blood flow, leading to shock. Despite treatment, about 30% of affected dogs succumb to bloat.

So I have a dog that has addisons disease and is hungry all the time due to the medication. She would suck down her food in one bite and I noticed she was have anal gland issues. I bought this to slow her down so her organs didn't have to work so hard. At first I thought how is she going to eat? The spaces are so tiny, an inch apart. Let me tell you...it works. She has slowed down so much and gets every piece out of it. She has also lost weight. Addisons is a horrible disease, but with diet, right meds, and bowl will help your puppers for sure. I'm thinking of getting another one for my pit/boxer to slow her eating down as well. This one is amazing.

My little dog is ravenous and has had two surgeries to save his life from eating rocks, tennis balls, socks, etc. He has a real neurological problem. He will eat his food in less than two bites, then look for more. This bowl slowed him way down and his tail was wagging the whole time he ate.

So this is the 4th style bowl I've tried so far and this one works the best for my little pitt mix. She is a rescue dog that was very underweight so she gulps when she eats and then throws up. I've tried the kind with swirls or bumps, but for some reason this design causes her eating to go from 10 seconds to about 3 minutes - no joke! I'd buy it asap and I'm ordering a second for a back up.

My name is Hector. I am a puppy Rhodesian Ridgeback. My mum and dad bought this for me as I eat really quick and then burped and farted in their faces. They put my biscuits in it and it’s good fun chasing the biscuits around. But I can’t eat my din dins in 10 seconds any more. It takes me about 5 minutes now and that means that mum and dad don’t have to suffer my wind and I like my biscuits better. I have tried turning it over with my big paws but that doesn’t work. Mum and dad like the bowl as it is easy to clean and it keeps me happy.

Shasta was given to inhaling her meals. Decided to try this and it was just the ticket! Now it takes her 5 minutes instead of 90 seconds to clean her bowl. It forces her to take a little time instead of just inhaling her food!

We use this for our dog as a slow feeder. We didn't want to get a plastic slow feeder since plastic is prone to build up bacteria. There are limited options for non plastic slow feeder bowls and this is one of them. Our pup is small/medium size, but I think this bowl would be good even for a large pup as well.

PawPuppery was inspired by my deep concern for Sage and Hazel, who frequently choked from eating too swiftly. The ever-present danger of bloat was a constant worry. After thorough research and many trials, I stumbled upon the wonders of slow feeder bowls. Additionally, our CBD chews have been a game-changer, significantly helping in calming their nerves and reducing anxiety. These products have revolutionized Sage and Hazel's well-being, and I sincerely hope they offer the same comfort to your beloved pets. ❤️
